Standalone ecu's

Hi, I'm currently running a low boost setup at the minute with an emanate blue and plan to fit a td04 kit. Does anyone know the best standalone ecu I can buy and could you point me and in the right direction.

Choose your mapper and then go with what they say, not the other way round.

surely you can choose the ecu then use the best person in the UK for mapping them. Dunno bout you guys but i'd happily travel to the other end of the UK to get the best guy for whatever ECU i wanted to run.

Wouldn't bother with a standalone just for TD04 tbh most are run on emanage. Maybe if you go for a bigger turbo and set up then yes but for TD04 its just overkill imo.

Pectel MQ12 is most likely the best ecu you can buy.... If you've got £7250 to spend.

Thanks for the opinions guys I think I will just upgrade from emanage blue to ultimate I think. I just thought standalone would be better as some people find the piggyback interferes sometimes

Both reasonably priced alternatives around 600mark

But as has been mentioned speak to your tuner, He might be a link or haltech or whatever dealer and tuner.

All about getting the right compromise between tuner location and price as almost all good Ecus are super at what they are meant to do.
