Gainzy
I would take that apexi out for now you won't need it just yet if your running stock boost clean those spark plugs check the dizzy cap look at all the basics first imo
Belg
Its not running stock boost, boost goes up to 0.9 bar before I'm hittin a brick wall but boosts at 0.5 bar fine

Sefton-EP91
I would take that apexi out for now you won't need it just yet if your running stock boost clean those spark plugs check the dizzy cap look at all the basics first imoI would do this, the reason it's jolting is because its trying to go past 0.85 boost, this is when fuel is cut to protect the engine. Turn boost down. Edited September 1, 2013 by Sefton-EP91
Belg
It's got a manual boost switch thing, don't know which way to twist it to turn it down just now
mikey4410
On my old boost conroller u had to undo it to reduce boost ,but do ureslf a favour and get standard high/lo solenoid back on it as its better at controlling boost.until such time u can get a edc mate. Flaminsam
Its the safc. Remove it and get some management on there. The safc is lying to the ecu telling it that more pressure than is actually in there. Hence adding more fuel but causing fuel cut.
TurboTobz
Can't remember but don't safcs have inbuilt FCD
Flaminsam
Nope all they do is raise or lower the voltage at certain rpm points. Plus they need a 0-5v sensor reading from the tps as it has a high and a low ''map'' if you want to call it that. Our starlets do not use a 0-5v sensor for the tps unless you have a auto tps. Hence why the emb doesnt have the grey (i think) tps wire wired in.
