novaluke
Ke25, i have read a lot of custom bell housing but what do you mean by it fabricating a cnc billet one? or modifying the bell housing like welding were the starter bolts and to line the holes? To be hones i don't know what exactly is done, in my mind i am thinking of using the glanza bell housing and adapt it to the t50 or w55 gearbox? I am correct by saying that? Sudden
Found this ages ago, should be of some assistance >http://youtu.be/Z0xqwhRe71s EDIT: (copypasta) - Uploader Comments (hvguy)Kenneth Baldacchino 2 years agoyou mean the gearbox from a 4age ?? it won't bolt up did u use a flange to connect it or something ??, great vid by the way Reply · hvguy 2 years agosorry for late response: ill post links in the description: since the starter is on the wrong side =( I had to cut out a section of the bell housing to clear the nose of the starter, I bolted the starter to the shim plate thats attached to the engine, I then TIG welded a lug to the housing for some support. One other hole needed "wobbled out" with a drill bit to make it fit, the threads in the block fir the tranny PERFECT so the input shaft was already aligned! soo greatful Pics of how I mounted the transmission, tranny is from a 86 4ac "corolla" or 4agehttp://i54.tinypic.com/142tv68.jpghttp://i53.tinypic.com/1z6xklx.jpghttp://i51.tinypic.com/s58nwl.jpg Edited September 23, 2013 by Sudden
