Chris Green
So you did nothing to it apart from oil feed and injectors ??? And a map converter ?? WTH is that ?? I'm guessing something along the lines of an Apexi AFC. It changes the signal from the MAP to the ECU.
JDMfreak
this is becoming a very popular thing turboing the N/A and some nice figures are been show what these little engine can produce power wise,, I'm going to do it later next year once I've sourced all the bits needed then do it all in the one week
rmsnoel
How do u set a ct9 or td04 to run low boost manually or electronically????
littlegreenmonster
Bout to say I've never heard of a thing like that before but then again im not really knowledgeable on some of the tuning aspects and I wonder what the standard fe engine could take
cherrye10
as many already said above, i swap the engine from the gt into the na. To stick a turbo onto an na you need to change pistons and conrods to forged ones; which wont be kind on your wallet, especially when you have a good engine and all stuff already available. swap is simpler route
Fozzie
You definitely don't need to forge just to run a CT9 on a standard 4EFE, as long as you're sensible with the boost setting it should be pretty dependable.Read here: http://www.ukstarletowners.com/topic/71038-4efe-na-turbo-conversion-178hp/#entry898738
cherrye10
well; considering taking that route. Start off with a 4efe and sticking turbo stuff later on. Down here they rip you off for a 4efte engine!what boost/bhp can the stock ct9 setup take? I'm for a daily
