Can someone identify the wire/plug connector picture inside.

Recommended Posts

I fitted a new lambda sensor today as my car came without 1.

I found a single wire that had been cut from the loom a white wire so joined the lambda there as it was the only single wire not connected.

I noticed this plug pictured not connected to anything and I can't see anything or anywhere it might go??

The plug I'm talking about is the grey plug pictured it's got 2 wire's in it sits ontop of the gearbox r/h/s looking at the engine bay,The other yellow wire pictured is going to the lambda I've just fitted.

It splits from the loom and the other wires go to the oil pressure switch, water temp sensor and the lambda sensor.

Can someone identify this for me, or go have a look to see if it's ment be spare as its bothering me that I don't know what its for??

Everything seems to work ok, so I'm thinking it may be for a auto box??

Any help appreciated.
