daniel_g Posted October 15, 2013 Posted October 15, 2013 Im in the middle of doing this with my 4paw, decided to turbo that N/a engine. Parts list i'm using from a GT. Think thats about it Quote
daniel_g Posted October 15, 2013 Posted October 15, 2013 Think 85 one is the same as a GT, it does look different to the one on my Carat which would most likely have the same one as a UK 91. Quote
RobSR Posted October 15, 2013 Posted October 15, 2013 Buy a GT engine with all the bits, + map sensor, dizzy, ignitor, coil, gt ecu, and engine loom. Splice engine loom into the n/a. They are very similar. Quote
cherrye10 Posted October 17, 2013 Posted October 17, 2013 mine runs a 1n(which is no faster than a bicycle pushed by lance armstrong without snorting coke!) i intended to swap a 5efe. I don't want turbo, I'm not after aweseome power, just some fun on the road. Was looking at 140-150ish from a 5efe Mistakingly, i bought a 5afe instead(they look almost identical, other than identical cc and bhp) and 5efe's are somewhat hard to find. on the other hand the 4 is quite common. What do you think of -rebore block-polish, port and skimming cylinder head-1.4vvti inlet manifold4-2-1 exhaust manifold-wide exhaust Quote
