Glanza Mac
you cant turn it down, you need to get a 0.6 or a 0.8 bar spring for your wastegate and also an electronic boost controller to be able to turn the boost back up again to 1.0 bar when you need it Rob. Azz
As above, you can only run the spring pressure or higher not below.1 bar spring = 1-1.4bar 0.7bar spring = 0.7-1.1And so on all ran through the ebc
Callumcat
So when my ebc is off that's why it's always 1 bar because of the spring I have In my waste gate??Or can I just turn it down with the ebc I have Sorry for being a pain And is 1 bar safe daily or will it cause problems
Callumcat
I get it lads sorry it's late and not thinking correctly I see the fact that I have the ebc makes no difference because of the spring I have in my waste gate, got the gain on 15 and boost at 10 using the ebc and is a lot less crazy is this safe or should I go and get a smaller springJust want it reliable sorry for all the questions I'm new as you can tell
TrisK
You shouldn't have a gain higher than the duty cycle. But apart from that sounds fine
Callumcat
What the gain should be less than boost? And is it worth getting a smaller spring to be a safe bet? just got it and want to make sure tbh Edited November 2, 2013 by Callumcat
RobSR
The gain/settings are totally different for every car.. 1bar td04 is fine, but if your feeling worried, yea buy a .8 bar spring. Edited November 3, 2013 by RobSR
mindless
1 bar everyday should be fine. You won't be reaching 1 bar 100% of the time unless you drive like a madman every single time you go out with the car. You should be able to keep it off max boost with a little discipline. Chris_GlanzaV98
Get a decent ecu in there and have it mappwd and it should be fine
