russ78 Posted November 5, 2013 Posted November 5, 2013 Back in the day I used to use cubase for composing and mastering fruity loops acid pro for beats and layering and soundforge for sampling but theres probably way better software nowdays Quote
morgey Posted November 5, 2013 Posted November 5, 2013 My mate just got a 16 track recorder thing and that came with a basic version of cubase, a full copys a few £££ still so I imagine its fairly good.I've another mate who might be able to reccommend something as he tinkers about with production when hes bored. jimlols Posted December 15, 2013 Posted December 15, 2013 (edited) Fruity loops is gonna be your easiest starting point, Ive never used logic or reason but obviously they're all useabale just fruity loops is a bit easier to get into from basic knowledge, personally I use cubase which i wouldn't recommend to use for making music unless youve used it before for other types of things...late reply ey Edited December 15, 2013 by jimlols Quote
BIGGFOOT Posted January 25, 2014 Posted January 25, 2014 I use ableton 8 or 9 and use other native instruments software such as massive to make house - bass music, if any of you other starlet lads are into house check me out here's my soundcloud page https://soundcloud.com/bigfoot-p Quote
kavan-k Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 Fl is good but its still a tricky one to get used too! Ableton and cubase are the shizz tho Quote
