rmsnoel
Hold gentle torque on the bolt with a breaker bar. Dont unscrew it quickly because the threads can strip

Dan Barnes
Heat around the bolt yeah? Then let it cool before trying it ?
Jamie1st
Loads of heat (don't let cool down), shock it with a hammer a few times on head of bolt. Make sure, as you say, to use a hex socket instead of a multi-spline, and try hitting your bar with a big hammer to shock loosen it. If you try and just use torque/strength you can snap/round bolts a lot easier, although sometimes it's the only way. Where you from?
