I'm back with a daily gt

Recommended Posts

Doubt anyone will remember me as if never posted much but I've just got myself another gt so this time I'll try to be more active, bought it as a daily car as I missed it from my first one

So this was my first gt that I got pretty standard had a side exit fmic running .8 of a bar - after blowing the turbo up I bought a td04 kit then ended up bending a rod so dropped a forged motor in n3nuko.jpg

Anyway ended up swapping for a pulsar gti-r - car was amazing but after doing a few trackways the big end bearings fused to the crank so I decided to sell it,it on was running a turbo technics stage 2 hybrid gt28 330bhp

Whilst I was selling the pulsar - I bought a daily arosa I won't bore you with that though as yeh there crap but I spotted a car I couldn't refuse in the shape if a s13 I've always been a massive fan of s bodies ever since I got my mx5 so had to have it

Anyway onto the new gt

From what I can see its daily standard, has a autobah888 fmic a cat back exhaust not sure on the brand a rrfpr and from the noise it makes I'm guessing a walbro fuel pump- but I haven't looked yet I'm just guessing it may as it's as noisey as my old one and typical starlets if already had to do a wheel bearing on it haha

It needs tidying up ect an don't have many plans as I'll be using it to go work an back an weekends until live finished the silvia

But seen as I won't be using the t25 anymore I might aswell fit it I know it's not the best turbo but it's just there so why not

Man that pulsar looks evil, always had a soft spot for them but finding a tidy one now is few n far between. Gt looks like a good starting base, good luck with it.

Oh the pulsar was the amount of grip, I was used to going for the starlet that just used to spin to 4wd that just gripped and went, in the dry it could corner so fast but in the wet it just under steered

Do remember that starlet in white tried to buy it off the chap you sold it to but went to quick lol. Nice started base there chap as I am trying to do the same as I have a weekend car getting resorted and the starlet once found will be my day to day car.

Ive never driven a Pulsar?

How do they compare to a Glanza/GT?

In terms of handling & Acceleration?

Good to see you back in a GT mate!

I'm completly weird compared to a starlet, used to fighting with torque steer an wheel spin where as the pulsar just gripped an went could keep it pinned around corner an if you felt abit brave you could actually get the back end out.

I think the best part of the car was the turbo, the spool was so responsive an hardly any lag changing gear an I was back in boost instantly

Did you buy this off eBay for £1020? And give the bloke bad feedback? If it was the one he has the red one for sale on eBay atm

The white one? No, I got the white one in 2012 an sold about 8months later - I keeps popping up an has had about 10different owners since me - heard it's a total nail now aswell :(
