Krissyb
So after more than 3 years of not owning my Starlet and being nagged by Abbott and after seeing his stunning Glanza take shape I searched on a few forums and saw a lovely MK1 over in NI.A few phone calls later to Jay and I was on my way to Northern Ireland to pick up the wee White MK EP82.It was reasonably clean with a few mods and fitted the bill perfectly, I wanted something with a few choice mods that I could get OCD with. Once I got her home I gave her a good polish using some Dodo juice products and got some more picturesSo after chatting with Abbott and Dean@ RW developments I've decided to get keep it CT9 but with a trick turbo kit.The engine bay and underneath need a bit of attention not in terms of rust but just dirt so I had Abbott get me a spare rocker cover and Dean @ RW weld somefittings on and I am currently having my Cusco ctach can done the same.I also managed to get hold of a nice R2D2 to replace the old school original hks blow off valve.Today some more presents turned up Sarah bought me a nice 24mm Whitleline front ARB and Droplinks from Mike @ TD.So the next stage for me will to be get some spare wishbones , powdercoat them along with the Front ARB's and polybush the Front wishbones.I'll also be stripping back the arches, zinc priming any shitty spots and stone chipping the arches. Once thats all done I'll make a start on the engine bay and keep everyone upto date. Edited August 17, 2014 by Krissyb

Krissyb
Bit of an update 10/4/14: With the nice weather today I decided to begin the much needed task of Stonechipping and Undersealing the car, I am doing one side at a time and then I'll concentrate on the back and then underneath. Firstly was to remove as much as possible including the arch liner and then bust out the cordless and wire wheel to gget any surface rust dirt and grime off and also key the metal. I was surprised at how clean and rust-free it was which must be a credit to the previous owner. Next was to use cleaning solution to wash it all down let it dry and then stonechipper it was 3 coats, last coat tomoz and then refit the shocks. Anyway here are some piccy's of todays progress, as you can see I have gone back to black as it's far easier to clean and maintain. I have spare wishbones and hubs and front struts on their way so will be getting all of these cleaned up / wishbones polybushed / new bearongs in hubs and then fitted to make it a proper refurb job. Half a tree tucked away downn there More to come over the next few days Edited January 10, 2014 by Krissyb
