Liam_D Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 Who uses these tyres 195/50/15 on there Starlets? My glanza is ready for a pair of tyres and I've wanted these for ages so gonna replace all for and get the alignment fast road set up again. What I want to know is, do you have any arch rubbing issues? And what size width wheels? Alignment settings are you guys running. Just don't wanna spend £300 for something to catch the arches at every opportunity. Cheers Liam Quote
JordanEP91 Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 Haven't used them myself, going to get a set for mine, apparently they are real good! Quote
jimmymac101 Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 I run them on my ignis and I must say I think they are better than the prada spec 2's I had before, got amazing grip once warmed up James Quote
mark-tozer Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 thinking of getting these tyres next better reviews that the toyo r1rs. they have : a rating in the wet. so cant be bad. Quote
Liam_D Posted January 14, 2014 Author Posted January 14, 2014 They are amazing i just wanna make sure they're gonna fit. Quote
morgey Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 (edited) I've got them on my car. 195/50/15. At a guess 6.5j around a 35-40mm offset. Had a bit of rubbing to start with, raised it 5-10mm on my bc's and it was fine on about mid way soft-hard.Now running 0.5 deg 6 clicks from soft on the front 4 from soft on the rear and about 22psi IIRC. Absolutely no rubbing what so ever. With no arch rolling at all... However the wheels do need spacing out to look good imo! This is how it sits height wise, could do with raising the rear a tad I think. Edited January 14, 2014 by morgey Quote

Jamie5414 Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 (edited) Try these Best tyres I've had yet. Comparison of the AD08 tyre. (I understand there are more reviews on the Yoko tyre, putting down the percentages.) Edited January 14, 2014 by Jamie5414 Quote
akaye4000 Posted January 16, 2014 Posted January 16, 2014 I ran these all round and are awesome once warm but got the ad08r's on the front as they have superceded them Quote
