toadthepimp
Just took my glanza gearbox in to have a LSD fitted and it turned out to be a uk spec box, so didn't fit the crown wheel!! Pretty gutted as I'm waiting on it to finish my car... Just bought another one off a lad breaking on gumtree but before I take it to the shop id like to be able to know it's not going to happen again to avoid labour charge for them having stripped the box down...Any tips would be awesome, thanks. rob_bower
As far as I'm aware only n/a boxes have the black press's alloy cover on the end all the others have a cast alloy cover the same colour as the rest of the box.

toadthepimp
I hope so!! I literally just dropped the box I picked up yesterday (which has the cast cover) down the repair shop. I'll post in here their findings after the weekend
toadthepimp
I can safely say, the LSD fitted in the one with the cast/ ribbed end
