Hi im new to the Glanza V but also turbo cars as this is my first :)

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone. Im pretty new to having a Glanza v I've had it for a month or two now and love it. Gives me so much joy driving it but lately i have been having touble with it. Just today it started fine and i went for a spin to get fuel. It was raining hard and very windy. As i drove it more it seem to bog when i hit turbo. Turbo was never there and it would backfire like mad. I got home it home but then later i tryed starting the car but it never started it was turning over but not starting anyone now what has happened. My mods are jperformance decat, s/s japspeed cat back exhaust, s/s toyosport manifold, idworkz air filter relocation kit, hks adjustable actuator, frount mount and recently new plugs like 2 days old. Also think manifold to turbo gasket is blowing has that got to do with anything?

Cheers

When you say bog out did the car drive badly/judder or did you start to lose power and drop speed? About a week or two ago I had this problem literally for 2 minutes whilst driving in heavy rain. Hope you find the problem!

miss fire that I'd say

Latest update guys it was leads water or something got to them. I've got new ones on now and shes running fine now. Also a boost pipe did pop of aswell. Xchloexxxx it started to loose power when ever i tryed to go on turbo and sometimes it was almost about to cut out so i thought at first it was the ignition like the plugs or something. But now is all fine cheers for the help guys.
