Glanza Strut brace

I got a few front strut braces and i'm tryin to fit one at the minute to a 97 ep91. Its a bloody tight fit. when shes in on one side the holes are out on the other, i can force it on should it be like this

It seems like the damn things too big. I need help. Also how can i relocate the fuel filter????

I also had trouble with this dude, the easiest thing to do is bend the bracket that holds the fuel filter, it will fit becuase i have mine on, its just pretty tight. Good luck.

in theory you should move the filter... but if youre like me, and you cant be bothered, then just bend the filter out of the way!

i just undid the bolt that holds the fuel filter in and pushed it away the back of the engine bay and now my strut brace has a snug fit but its ok.

Bend it wat way. The metal fuel line cumin into bottom of my filter seems to restrict the movement. afraid of wreckin it.

Back box fell off yday and drunk dicks bent door hinge so fcuk the filter it'll do ;)

hope you get it all sorted, the way i do it is, i loosely bolt on the passenger side, and the use some force and push the other side of the brace into place, and then bolt it down! the filter will be pushed out of the way during this.

i loosened the fuel filter (only need to loosen 2 of the 4 nuts from memory)

then undid the nuts on the strut tower, pushed the fuel filter forward (towards the front of the car)

placed the strut brace in between the firewall and the fuel filter (so in order looking from front to back it goes: 1. Fuel Filter, 2. Strut Brace, 3. Firewall)

then tightened the strut brace on

then pushed the fuel filter down, underneath & behind the strut brace, so that the brace is now at the front.

then did up the nuts of the fuel filter

then cable tied the fuel filter to the brace,

worked, but yes it is a tight fit.

Thanx lads. Got her on, christ its tight. Top job definatley reduction in under steer. Backbox sorted and i dont sit in the passenger seat so i dont care if the window works lol. Good times, cheers

just like my mates tellin me to buy 2 bucket seats, im like im poor and why wud i wana get 2? just means my passenger will benefit from my money haha

i dunno spos eit looks better with two seats mate but if your after performance rip that other seat out the radio is more interesting thatn them usually anyway!
