Kate
HiHave a few probs with the car atm. Smoking etc so may need to get my turbo resealed or maybe a new turbo...Question is what one could I get without having to change anything else? Below is list of mods I have...IntercoolerZisco manifoldFull exhaust systemBoost controllerJAM ECUWalbro fuel pumpHks actuator So what turbos could just either replace the CT9 or do I go along the hybrid side? I'm struggling to understand turbos lol help please....Thanks
Amjad
Hybrids are quite expensive for the gains made, I'd go with a rebuilt CT9b. Either that, or get an adaptor plate from Dean at RW-D and run a TD04/similar Edited April 17, 2014 by Amjad
Mikeyallgood85
Another ct9 or a hybrid ct9 without changing a thing! anything else like td04 you would need the manifold to fit it and the de-cat and modify your intercooler pipe! Hope this clears things up, also there is a hybrid speed vision ct9 on ebay
Mikeyallgood85
Or what Amjad said get an adaptor maid!
Kate
Could you send me the link of the eBay one? You think it's legit? I worry about eBay parts lol. Thanks dudes!
Mikeyallgood85
Think it must of been sold as I can't find it speak to Liam_D on here, he rebuilt my k24 witch cost me £188 from what I can remember and you'll get 12 months warranty unlimited miles! He does an excellent job hence the recommendation
Kate
I did speak to him about getting mine done and that's what he quoted. Didn't know about the warranty though. I may get a second hand one and get that rebuilt. Have put something on the wanted section so will see what's around first

Kate
True. Ok! Will have a good look tomorrow. Is it safe to drive if there is just a bit of smoke? X
Gainzy
Only really a hybrid route with those mods the ct9 and hybrid ct9 tongs or speed vision I agree with Amjad with the ct9b you can still gain near enough 200bhp + @ 1bar

TurboTobz
If your happy with the power Ct9, if you crave more power Td04 is the best option for value/power/reliability/smiles
