electrics went help needed

Hi all drove car last night fine went to start it this morning as soon as I turned the key the electrics went.now nothing comes on when I turn the key.

Any help much appreciated.

Battery dead. or bad earths

Check your fuses. Sounds as if your 80amp one has blown

Cheers for the replys guys where is the 80 amp located and can these be picked up from halfords

Its in the fuse box under the bonnet.

If it has blown and you need to remove it, you undo the 2 bolts which attach it to the engine bay, then you press the 2 clips to remove the fuse holder from below the actual fuse box.

Then remove the 2 small bolts holding the fuse in place. Pretty easy job to do, just a bit tricky.

My local halfruads is crap, and didnt have the fuse in stock, so I got mine from here:

I can only find a 60 amp fuse in the bay the same as your link the tgtt wire diagram only shows 60 amps to from what I can see

So has ure fuse gone then mate ?? Will be evident if it has

Haven't really had time to check but put key in ignition after work and all lighted up so guessing a bad earth and battery is flat I only Brought a new battery a month ago so going to look for a bad earth.

I still ordered a new set of fuses for the motor just in case
