Turbo Goose Posted June 7, 2014 Posted June 7, 2014 (edited) Hi guys, ive just purchased a tial external wastegate as well as tf035 and mani etc.I do not have a ebc and was wondering to run 1 bar do i simply purchase a 1 bar spring and install it? Bit new to the idea of an external wastegateDan Edited June 7, 2014 by Haresign Quote
daniel_g Posted June 7, 2014 Posted June 7, 2014 Yeah thats exactly what you do.The top port of the EWG is left open to atmosphere if you arent running an EBC, and the bottom port goes directly to the nipple on the compressor housing on the turbo. Quote
Turbo Goose Posted June 7, 2014 Author Posted June 7, 2014 Nice one buddy, is there anyway to tell a fake tial from a genuine one? Quote
daniel_g Posted June 7, 2014 Posted June 7, 2014 I imagine there will be a guide on their website or google maybe ? Quote
Whitenoize Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 I'm so confused by my mv-s wastegate wtf are all the holes for lol and can anyone confirm if the 1bar spring is the red one ? Quote
Socks Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 The newer vband style Tial ones are water cooled.... Hence the extra ports... You want to put a spring in for the lowest amount of boost you want to run... You use a boost controller to raise it from there... You cant reduce boost lower then the spring pressure! Quote
