TrisK
Is your coil mounted to the firewall
5e colin
brake in the wire from ecu to dizzy or coil or knakered ecu and as mentioned above the coil neads to be earthed
Chops
i just sorted this problem, youll have to follow the lead all over the place and try and isolate a faulty wire with a multimeter bud. grounds are also something to pay extra attention to.
jamesherring93
Yeh both igniter and ignition coil are grounded and haven't found no wires cut yet fort maybe ht leads or king lead
Chops
king leads are always going wrong, if you have some scrap wire you can make a temp one to see if it is the king lead. they can be intermittent though, appearing to work when you test it but not when its on the car. jamesherring93
Ok il buy a new one for the sake of £20.. But what wires was you on about chasing?
Chops
the wires that connect the ignition system together, particularly ones that come close to heat sources or are in areas that make them likely to be susceptible to corrosion. its probably something small, though mine turned out to be my king lead, a knackered connection and my alternator. jamesherring93
See I keep saying this and the garage say na defo the igniter that fault but I don't wanna pay £270 for new one :/

jamesherring93
They said there no obvious signs of breaks in the wiring..I even got another ecu in case mine was faulty but still nothing
5e colin
ha ha really they said obvious !!!!! dont think they checked for continuity attal !!!! they just looked at the wires as a visual by the sound of it you changed everything now except the wiring !!!! issue is most likely there ! jamesherring93
Yeh what they said and reckons it cost to much to check the wiring has any one got an Idea on what part of wiring I should look at?
