aleximport25 Posted June 23, 2014 Posted June 23, 2014 Hi everyone I've been looking into getting a replacement inlet manifold and wondered if anyone had ever tried fitting itb's maybe use the 4age ones ?? Quote
aleximport25 Posted June 23, 2014 Author Posted June 23, 2014 Yeah I no that pulsars run itb's and there turbo'd Quote
morgey Posted June 23, 2014 Posted June 23, 2014 (edited) As do skylines. It's doable. Blitz to a turbo kit for the 20v's with a chamber for the Itb's otherwise you'd need a custom one. You'd also need an adaptor plate to go from the bodies to the 4e head obviously. Edited June 23, 2014 by morgey Quote
aleximport25 Posted June 23, 2014 Author Posted June 23, 2014 Sweet cheers mate I've got a talented friend who can help out Also do you think it would increase torque figures. Quote
aleximport25 Posted June 23, 2014 Author Posted June 23, 2014 Has anyone got a cheap inlet manifold any condition ?? Quote
morgey Posted June 23, 2014 Posted June 23, 2014 Would be more throttle response as boost can build up much closer to the combustion chamber filling the plenum off throttle rather than having it under direct vacuum. Tbh I doubt there'd be huge gains on a turbo'd car. But if you've got the no how and the equipment then go for it. Getting a good map signal could also be a problem, You would want a vacuum chamber and a pulse dampener. I would have thought Quote
aleximport25 Posted June 23, 2014 Author Posted June 23, 2014 I will have to put a bit of rummaging through people's brain .... but I really want to try and do something a bit different and I can't say as if ever herd of it being done unless anyone can shed some light ?? Quote
