Mernagh Posted August 7, 2014 Share Posted August 7, 2014 I recently changed the engine in my glanza S (4efe) I changed it to another 96 spec glanza S engine and ever since my car idles at 2000 rpm and won't drop and sometimes it drops to 1200 rpm and goes up to 2500rpm as if it has lifted cams!.. I cleaned iacv and changed the gasket so can't be that might just be f**ked Any idea what this could be Quote Link to post Share on other sites

spoon Posted November 25, 2014 Share Posted November 25, 2014 i'm having the same issue with my glanza s, when the engines running if i try block off the throttle body the engine should stall but it doesn't. its like theres an air leak of some sort around the inlet but it was fine before i parked it up. it was stood for 6 months then i started it up and now i have this issue but when the car warms up the revs calm down and then it starts hunting.
