What oil and filter do you recommend?

Running 1.2 bar boost on a hybrid in around 200-220 bhp.

Standard 4E-FTE engine.

Will be on the drag strip a lot with no oil cooler.

Drive on the road a lot too.

Some ester based synthetic 5w-30, 5w-40 or 10w-40 oil like Fuchs Titan Race, Motul 300v or Redline High Performance.

Ester oils have thicker oil film at operating temp than normal oils and will tolerate more heat.

oil fitler i would go for a enterprise mag II filter, basically a oil fitler with a magnet inside.

if thats too expensive then next would genuine toyota one.

x2 for the Power Enterprise mag II oil filter. It has a magnet inside and also has a finer paper element for better filtration.

HKS hybrid is also a very good filter with magnet inside.

But as above, if your not willing to spend the extra for these then stick with genuine toyota.

Any UK shop sell those filters? Couldn't find any local shops from here, but Nengun seems to have them for 39euros + shipping + tax :G

How often do you change the filter? I have been changing with every oil change(5000km), as I got plastic bag full of cheap Solid Ace filters 4 years ago when I bought the car. Just used the last one
