Glanza-Ben Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 (edited) Is there any way to spot a jam actuator, I was looking in a bucket of parts I got with the gt and there's a gold actuator by its self and the one ok turbo is silver, I Googled it and seen jam ones ten to be gold is this correct? WallaceGlanza Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 I've got a gold actuator but it is not a jam one,so it's a bit of an assumption. Would be best to test it on a car to see what level of boost it holds before potentially miss-selling it. Quote
AdamB Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 I thought the Jam actuator only has the one boost port. Quote

Glanza-Ben Posted September 20, 2014 Author Posted September 20, 2014 Here's one http://www.toyotagtturbo.com/forums/showthread.php?27510-**JAM-Racing-actuator-** Quote
Gainzy Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 Jam has two stems so to speak, best way to tell is take that silver one off and compress both of them with your hand, the Jam one has the stiffer spring load some stock actuators have small stickers on the bottom if I was there I could guarantee you to two seconds lol Quote

Glanza-Ben Posted September 21, 2014 Author Posted September 21, 2014 Just tested it against a stock actuator and is a noticeable difference between the two Quote
