BillyLindsayEp82
Just bought my first ep82For some reason the fan is always on, making the car run cool, a lot less than half way on the temp gauge, is this going to cause problems, is there any advantages/disadvantages? Thanks
morgey
Theres a single wire plug under the dizzy that controls the fan. Either the sensors knackered or the wire is split. (Or not connected) If its running thay cold it might still be on cold idle so will be over fueling.
mikey4410
Or somebody hasnt bridged the aircon sensor unit.that also makes fan come on permanent

And gets between the cold line and half way
BillyLindsayEp82
Or somebody hasnt bridged the aircon sensor unit.that also makes fan come on permanentThis could be the reason as air con has been removed, how would I check for this? Sorry I'm new to these cars
Stu
Just behind the passenger side headlight, should be a grey plug with two wires - wires need bridging/joining
