morgey
Actually it might be.The MR-S over here came with an lsd. These fit both our corolla t-sports and celicas (2zz fitment). The mr-s lsd is also the same fitment as ae111 levin bzr lsd's which will fit in our c56 gearboxes. I would put a good 80% chance that it will fit.

morgey
I would say yes it will fit. Its an 8 bolt diff from a C series. Before rip your c56 apart try a driveshaft from your car in this diff. Just remove the snap ring first lol

pockrockgtti
Its not the same. The diff in a c6x is diffrent size. I cant remember exactly, i seem to remember its either shorter or longer in length.
morgey
Are you sure? This is a cross reference of cars that an oem mrs lsd fits, part number 41301-20230If you look it fits both 6f and 5f trans and the 5f fitted to mrs is a C56 and the 2zz its fitted to at the bottom is a c6* Going by that It will fit. You will just need to use your ring gear. Edited September 30, 2014 by morgey
pockrockgtti
You could be right. It still baffles me tho why quaife went to the trouble to design and build a totally diffrent lsd for the c6x series boxes. If that screenshot above is correct they should be cross compatible. On the quaife site there are drawings for both a diff for c5x and c6x There diffrent dimension details etchttp://shop.quaife.co.uk/media/blfa_files/QDF21E.pdf Mr2 spyder c6xhttp://shop.quaife.co.uk/media/blfa_files/QDF15E.pdf starlet turbo c5x
pockrockgtti
I just noticed something crucial going by the quaife drawings. Looks like the driveshaft splines are diffrent on both so the mr2 spyder lsd might fit, but wont work cause driveshafts wont fit. The pcd of the crownwheel bolts are also completly diffrent Edited September 30, 2014 by pockrockgtti
morgey
This is from an old thread but heres where i saw it 1st but I've seen it in other places too.
