karl.
Does anybody know what the clearance is on a standard 5efe engine with a 0.5mm head gasket? Even 4efte with a standard gasket would be fine I'm hopeing to build a high compression 5e engine but I want to keep it non interference. I will also be using high lift cams so I will need to add a extra 1mm or so to the valve opening.Any info is appreciated.

karl.
That's a good start Colin thanks, I will be skimming the deck along with the head and using wiesco 10cc pistons so going by that I shouldn't have any problems
