Charlie28 Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 Is there anything i should check before i start up my forged engine. Obviously oil pressure, but what else? Cheers,Charlie Quote
Socks Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 Disable efi. And crank the engine until the oil pressure light goes out. To prime the oil system. You don't want any part of it dry that's for sure. Chec for fuel leaks before starting. Start the engine run it for 30seconds. Checking all fuel system for leaks. Followed by cooling system. Then oil system. Don't load the engine up or Rev it aggressively. Quote
