WallaceGlanza
Cheers guys, already spent far too much money on it and barely driven it - bloody salty roads! Insurance was a pleasant price, barely any higher than the glanza but I did have a good shop around to get it and I'm also getting kind of old.
Arnold
Cheers. I'm thinking of buying an Evo too. Not sure if I would miss the Glanza or not! Would you miss yours if you sold it?
WallaceGlanza
Of course I'll miss it sentimentally but the evo more than makes up for it! It doesn't feel as raw as the glanza and at times not even as quick but it's just because it's so much more planted at all times that it's deceptively quicker, its good that it feels just a little more grown up but still goes some! Buy one!
Calum122
Very smart. I do like Evos (more than scoobys)

Buy one! Nice one, thanks. Very tempted. I hear servicing costs are quite high and regular, but I imagine I will get one anyway. Got a wedding to get out the way first! WallaceGlanza
Nice one, thanks. Very tempted. I hear servicing costs are quite high and regular, but I imagine I will get one anyway. Got a wedding to get out the way first! Servicing schedule is actually less than a glanza if both by the book, evo is every 4.5k miles for engine oil and filter and it's also recommended to change the AYC fluid every 4.5k but it's only 1 litre so a tenner. Obviously if you're getting them serviced at Mitsubishi or a specialist the cost would be higher than a glanza would be. It's also nice to have a full dealer service history on something like an evo for re-sale but I'm doing it myself and just keeping my own log and all the paperwork to prove it. I even averaged 23.5mpg on first tank of v-power which surprised me!
seab
Good choice sir, I've had 2 Evo in the past (5 and 6.5) best cars I have owned.Yours looks fantastic, if you get it mapped you should see about 33mpg on motorway :-) I used to change my oil every 5-6k with AYC fluid I didn't change it that often but you do need a specialist to change it as you need MUT to run the AYC pump, so if you do it every 4.5k that will add up quickly.Oil is easy just 5W30 semi synthetic and filter is so easy to reach its obscene lol.The AYC fluid I just used to order ATF from opie. WallaceGlanza
Slow reply... Cheers mate, yeah they're awesome! The first tank of V-power wasn't exactly used lightly so I'd expect it could do a lot better on the motorway... but where's the fun in that:p You can just change the AYC fluid in the bath without bleeding it so I'll be doing that every oil change just to keep things clean:) So blah blah blah, not going to do any modifications etc Lies!! New dials, more carbon, springs and some awesome wheels: Yet I've still barely driven the bloody thing!! Edited March 24, 2015 by WallaceGlanza

WallaceGlanza
Lovely choice of wheels buddy! Cheers man, I was looking at grids and bolas but when the genuine te37's popped up there was no way I was turning them down! Awesome cars..my mate has a 445bhp IX and they don't hang about! Very nice, similar power to my Evo. 400bhp is great for road use Agreed on both, this power is good for the back roads, really don't need much more since it actually makes use of it all too. Hopefully it takes a while for the more power bug to hit me!
