Attempting to start my car today.

Removed EFI and king lead and tried to crank engine but no oil from the turbo return pipe!

The engine is a second hand forged motor and has been sat for a few months.

I haven't cranked it repeatedly, should I continue to crank the engine?

I've taken it off buddy, it was bone dry..

I then filled it with oil and put it back on.

I think the oil pump isn't primed. Not sure how to prime it. Either that or it's broken.

Mine did the same, I finally bit the bullet, connected fuel and spark and started it. Boom oil pressure. I did double check everything first, pick up seal replaced, even a new one was dry... But started instantly, and oil light went off within a second.

Thinking I may do the same buddy. Tried injecting oil through the filter hole but no luck as it just runs back out. All out of options now really! Don't believe the oil pump is bad. Hmm what to do!

Had same problem earlia.. friend of mine came over earlia who built the engine. Dropped some oil in filler cap.. fired engine up oil light went off.

Switched it off. Took efi out checked return and oil passing through then.. all good sinse. Just had to bite the bullet

Managed to finally get oil pressure earlier. I removed the oil filter and place a long length of silicone hose over the hole were the filter screws on and poured oil down the other end holding it as high as possibly above the engine. I then had my mate crank the engine and bingo oil pressure!
