I use a driftworks magnetic sump plug on both my car and bike. The magnet is so much stronger than others on the market and is made from steel as opposed to cheap aluminium. And it's surprising how much it catches that the oil filter misses.

I have had a magnetic sump plug in all my starlets.i wouldnt have a performance car without one.

as said above u will see a small amount of superfine metal each time you change oil.this being stuck and secured in one safe place in this way is very important and a great idea.

I am doing an oil change tommorow and will post up the pic here of the magnetic sump plug.

I bought 1 for when my forged engine first arrived from Zisco and after the first few oil changes I was shocked at how many fillings wer on it that would of been floating around my engine without it. And I woudnt use anything but 1 now. And mine came from id workz
