ashep91
I seriously need some help I have a ksport 6 pot brake kit with the bigger 286mm discs on my glanza I want to change the alloys for rota grids I got the template from ksport and drift works say theu wont fit due to the length of tge caliper catching at the ends am sure last year I seen someone who had these wheels 15" rota grids over this brake kit with 20mm spacers I just want advice if its correct I could go 16" but I would rather not as I may meed to adjust my varis wings to get 16" wheels on
Glanza Mac
I believe the 15x7j rota grids fit over with no spacers, or it could of been 5mm spacers :-) Rob.
Mad Mike EP82
You will need to get the correct offset my team dynamics only just fit et35 15" 7j. Et30 or lower would be better.

Et30 or lower would be better. If I go for 7" rim width its et40 and 8" is et20 but the 8" would stick out a lot am guessing? ?
Mad Mike EP82
Et40 might not fit.
Jamie_VF22
ET40 will not fit i had to use 5mm spaces with my willwoods 4 pots and it was super tight fit still You will need an ET28 to fit over K-sports with NO spaces Edited February 7, 2015 by Jamie_VF22
ashep91
I spoke to the guy at rare rims and gave him the brake kit template and they reckon 15" 7"wide will fit with 5mm spacers
Mad Mike EP82
Don't run spacers. Buy wheels that fit team dynamics pro race 1.2 15" 7j et35 fit no spacers 👍
AdamB
Agree with Mike, just buy wheels that fit the first time round, I'm not a fan of spacers either.
ashep91
Do you think any wheel that are 15" 7j et 35 will fit? I dont really like the look of the team dynamic pro alloys is there anything else similar to rota grid so 5 spoke they do which will fit?

ashep91
Ok mate I might have to have spacers as I have varis fenders they are wider
akyakapotter
I'm looking at getting a set of ksports my wheels are 6.5 wide no idea what the offset is but looking at my design of wheel I may pull it off just about.
mattyD
If I were you, get a smaller caliper! I never found ksports any better than wilwoods etc and the caliper is fucking huge

DevonGT
You'll probably have to use spacers, not many 15's fit over ksports.
mattyD
You need to measure the internal diameter of the wheel and measure the length of the caliper from top to bottom....thats the issue, not really the fact the caliper is to wide
ForgedV
Compomotive M05's fit over them without spacers, I used to run them before I had some spacers made up for my Toms New Actions
ashep91
What were the exact spec of the alloys you ran please did you have the ksport 6pot brake kit with the bigger discs?
ForgedV
I only ran them for a week or two from a while my spacers were machined, he no longer owns them so chances of him remembering are slim was a couple of years back now, sorry mate
