Heya guys.

Righto I've been skulking around these boards since xmas when I acquired a 96 Glanza Turbo.

Gained it because A freind couldnt afford to run, Snapped His hand off..

Basically about me, Im an Ex VW enthusiast.. Used to make Mk2 Golfs my life..

Since then ive joined the army and have got this little toy to play with..

Mods im aware of (im stupid when things are new to me) are some Tom 16's by the looks..

Full through exaust system.. which fkn blows already... sorted next weekend..

blitz dump valve.. all of that buisness.. Hoses have been swapped over and all.. which app makes

it boost through gears 1 and 2.. niiice.

Anyways.. Look forwards to reading posts and well now im brave.. replying to them aswell :)

although I wont make any sense at all.. And ill probably be asking why this has hapened etc

heres the motor off the forecourt my freind bought it from..

obviously the paint has a lil bit of winter dust on it now..

but its nice isnt it.

I dont particularly have any plans for it..

im all new to jap cars, again i was with the german dub crowd..

On looking at a ton of peoples cars on here, and knowing about it...

i do fancy a front mounted intercooler..

they look really ace..

im more looking for ideas off you guys.. and gurls its 2008 now ..

lol those are tall questions man,

but to entertain you, what can be done

anything if you have the wonga- 300bhp and beyond infact.

what should be done?

if your on about tuning then your essential breathing and cooling mods should all be there before you start molesting the boost by sorting out the fualing.

what should i not do?

getting the car all neded up would be abit shit, apart from that dont hold the temptation to fit a fual cut defender, and sort out the fualing before turning the boost up past fual cut,

wheres the best place to gain parts and all of that kind of gear?

with a site like this comes to pretty good places to sort out your car..

with regards to nedding my car ... I was thinking bowt putting some 18 inch chromes

blue undercar neons and putting a red sunvisor that says "motorsport" in..

wot u fink mate innniiit? <_<

ive just read that you have a straight through so thats part of the problem away already, the cat is very restrictive to the turbo also, so a decat from sikilamart here is a good place to start and u will notice a difference with it,

to get the turbo goin at full chat you need to get it to shove out a bar of pressure then your left with a car that will blitz most things on the road up to the magic ton. to do that properly ul aproximately need 1-1.5k at the moment. requiring better cooling with an uprated intercooler of some sorts, and a decent manifold along with some way of regulating boost and fual pressures.

the ct9 is quite a small turbo so ul be reducing the life of it by running a bar constantly(180-200 @ the fly aprox), but if it goes and when you could just upgrade it to something else for even more power <_<

How can you tell the wheels are fake?

Also, Are rota grids just a cheap replica?

Yeah they are cheap replicas, but they are still a good wheel. I made the mistake of buying Rota Grids thinking they were the beez neez, but that was before I knew the crack.

They are still a nice wheel, just accept that they are copies.
