phil_boyd Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 Got an ep91 and wondering how much bhp i should see? I have a rough idea but wondering what others thinkJam ecuFront mount Mild steel maniScream decatFull japspeed pipeIradaim plugs8mm ht leadsCheers guys Quote
phil_boyd Posted February 15, 2015 Author Posted February 15, 2015 Keeping it 9psi, dont want any pistons out the bonnet Quote
mattyD Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 I made 146 @ .6 bar (9psi) with a ct9 hybrid on a stock ecu bud Quote
phil_boyd Posted February 15, 2015 Author Posted February 15, 2015 Sweet, thinking ill see about 170bhp when's its all finished Quote
mattyD Posted February 16, 2015 Posted February 16, 2015 If you up the boost yeah, having a jam ecu will do sweet FA if the boost is the same, well may sort the fuelling a little so could gain a bit but certainly not 30 hp! Putting the pressure to 1 bar will see the power rise a bit Quote
phil_boyd Posted February 16, 2015 Author Posted February 16, 2015 well my decat, mani and front mount will give me an extra 15ish bhp plus jam ecus already have a map in them and fcd so getten another 30+bhp is highly achievable Quote
Ollieh17 Posted February 16, 2015 Posted February 16, 2015 As above, doubt you'll see that much much more power at those boost levels Quote
RobSR Posted February 17, 2015 Posted February 17, 2015 (edited) well my decat, mani and front mount will give me an extra 15ish bhp plus jam ecus already have a map in them and fcd so getten another 30+bhp is highly achievable Why are you asking if your telling us what you are gonna make? LOL. 9 out of 10 JAM ecus are designed to run 1bar pressure on a standard turbo, so running it at 0.6bar isn't going to be all that amazing. If you have a mani, decat, fmic and JAM ecu run 1 bar - you won't have 'pistons coming out the bonnet' Edited February 17, 2015 by RobSR Quote
Arnold Posted February 20, 2015 Posted February 20, 2015 well my decat, mani and front mount will give me an extra 15ish bhp plus jam ecus already have a map in them and fcd so getten another 30+bhp is highly achievable Why would you fit an updated ECU and a FCD? pointless Quote
Gainzy Posted February 20, 2015 Posted February 20, 2015 I believe the earlier type JAM ecu's didn't remove fc and required a fcd seen a post way way back a guy had both wired in from Japan. I would say 180 @ 1bar, remove some weight is the way to go Quote
