Boylo99
Need new front pads but undecided wether to go ebc redstuff or greenstuff?
Keri-WMS
Or DS2500? ;) If you're sticking with EBC I'd go for Red, Green is fast road for lower power cars, Red is 200+bhp fast road.
Boylo99
Ds2500?? Im running about 170ish so better to go for red you rekon?
morgey
What use does the car get? Daily or common fast road/light track work?I found the yellows better than the greens if some spirited driving was involved but i think id opt for a different brand like mintex 1144 or 1155 or ferrodo ds2500's if its anything more than a road car. Boylo99
Used as a daily mainly so some boring driving but gets some abuse after i finiah work Edited February 27, 2015 by Boylo99
aaddzz123
Green stuff are probably only a little better than a normal replacement pad, however don't give off as much brake dust. Yellow stuff are the next set and speaking from experience they are fantastic. Red stuff are the next step which I would like to try but haven't yet. The pads you wabt depend entirely on how you're going to drive. If it's a daily and you just drive like a normal person then stick with green stuff. Of you're going to drive hard occasionally then you would benefit from the yellow and if it's a track slag I'd give red a go.Just remember that the yellow stuff require heat to work, which is why some people don't like them. Not always ideal for road use. Red stuff require even more heat to work which is why again, a lot of people don't like them for road use... But once they're warm they're very good. Boylo99
Ahh thats a helpful chart id say red were the best then yellow may be a bit too much as it has had no track action yet lol 👍👍👍👍 Edited February 27, 2015 by Boylo99
Gainzy
I run yellow they seem good
aaddzz123
Well fuck me haha! I thought yellow was before red. My bad. Red may be better for road use then . I personally loved the yellow. It was satisfying feeling them brake much harder After giving it more rather than fade.
Boylo99
Yeah me too lol i went for red in the end so il have red all round see how they go i guess Edited February 27, 2015 by Boylo99
AdamB
Redstuff chew through discs so keep an eye on it. Would have opted for Mintex 1144 if on a budget.
