converted 4efe to turbo ct9 coolant ports???????????

how do i get a coolant feed to the ct9 turbo from a 4efe engine???

does it NEED a coolant feed, i know the td04 doesnt but does the ct9 NEED one??

They both don't NEED one, the will run without. Someone did put something up the other day about running turbos without waterlines and the issues it can cause though

If you wanted to run water lines you could get a thermostat housing from a FTE with the water outlet ports and use that.

I wouldnt bother, i turbod a FE and just left it.

but second sentence I wud disagree with.use water lines on both for sure.they are there for a reason.

nah not that.there was a graph and vey detailed info on running water and not running it.

changed my mind fully.i used to think the opposite also and that the lines werent needed.

On my setup i dont want them or need them so yeah it is personal preference.

Oil is the primary cooler of the turbo, the water lines are there from and for the factory setup of the engine and turbo, mine isnt standard and so i dont see the need for them.

By all means run them if ya want, but plenty people dont bother and have no issues.

Also i dont have some custom spec 2k turbo so zero fucks given.

just drill the na housing for 2 ports and tap 2 bungs in there that will take hose simple job mate
