Ollieh17
Cranking the engine over for the first time in a while. Not getting oil to turbo for some reason? Nothing coming from feed or return
5e colin
check for bl0ckage in the feed turbo and drain pipe also get a mechanics oil pressure gauge and undo the oil sensor behind the turbo to see if she makes pressure
Ollieh17
Taken the pipe off and seems to be fine. Took the bolt out the filter housing too and its dry?
5e colin
thats not right amigo leave it of and let some1 crank her over and you check for oil coming out if there is totally nothing then it is pickup blocked or pump fucked

Ollieh17
Yeh sump and pick up off
patman
Yeah it's always worth checking the little o ring on the pick up aswell make sure there's a good seal there when you put it on 👍
Ollieh17
Ive read online about packing the oil pump with vaseline to create a seal while its drawing oil as it wasnt primed. If oil down the filter hole doesnt work then ill try vaseline. No luck ill have to start taking sump etc back off
Charlie28
If it was a brand new pump it would have had a blob of grease on it, so when you fitted and cranked her over you would get a vacuum and draw the oil in. Try this, remove your oil filter, get a long length of silicone hose and put it over the oil filter hole (where the filter screws on) Pour oil into the top of the hose and have someone crank the engine over at the same time. If that doesn't work, your pump is knackered.
Ollieh17
The pumps been on since before xmas so the grease may have become ineffective? Ill try that this weekend mate!
