Mitchell
Ok so recently purchased a spec 6 puk from td, got it fitted over the weekend an all seemed well, biting point was half to three quarters up the pedAl, smooth gear changes no crunching, happy chappy, then after driving for about 100 miles noticed that occasionly when pulling off in 1st, the biting point will drop right to the floor, an send me juddering off, and same into second, but then is fine through the rest of the gears, it probably does it like 1 in 5 times of trying too pull off, any ideas what it could be ? I thought maybe air in the system but it hasnt been disconnected so dont know how it would have gotten in, or the slave? But it wasnt doing it before :s or is it just a case of running it in? Thanks
daniel_g
You can adjust the clutch pedal as well as bleed the system. There is a threaded rod right at the top of the pedal. Give it a go and see if it improves.

morgey
It sounds like it might be one of the cylinders giving up. Almost like the seals ok for the best part but occasionally letting fluid by meaning more travel. I might be way off om that though lol
TimD
Clutch master/slave cylinder, or there is just air in the system. Had this with my Pulsar, ended up having to replace the master cylinder.
Starlet__SR
You've put the system under greater stress with the harder cover plate. It will either be the master cylinder or slave cylinder thats passing.Day
mikey4410
had a six puck clutch for a good 6 months now and its a joy to use and operate. as above must be an issue with adjustment and or leaking from somewere.
Darzo2010gt
Had the same problem with this clutch in my mates,we replaced the master cylinder and slave cylinder it made no difference it ended up damaging the gearbox i think the clutch plate on them are to thick so we replaced it with a competition clutch with no issues.
