matthewthomas Posted April 10, 2015 Share Posted April 10, 2015 Fitted a hks fuel cut defender last night took it for a lil test run and was going ok in the hi rev range and not so good in the low range tryed to go out this morning and car wont idle right unless the revs are up a lil and when you throttle the car it doesnt go past 3k now and just makes poping noise Quote Link to post Share on other sites
gazza g Posted April 10, 2015 Share Posted April 10, 2015 bit of a bad idea to be honest, did you set it up on the dyno or with a wideband in conjuntion with a adjustable fuel pressure reg? if not and you have been boosting it you may have damaged the engine, best bet is to remove it and see how it runs, if its no better then i would look at compression testing Quote Link to post Share on other sites

matthewthomas Posted April 10, 2015 Author Share Posted April 10, 2015 When i look at the fitting online it shows the red wire to go to a black a yellow lead but wen i look online a guy fits it to a red and black on his ep89 should i put it on the yellow and black see how i go from there ?
