every starlet I have had I have removed it.

all have been fine even after hard driving through the lanes makes no difference, still coolant remains same level.

If you don't need then why did toyota include them? where dose you excess coolant go when it heats up and expands all over the floor? They are there for that reason to catch the excess when it heats up and when it cools down to create a vacuum to replace the coolant that was pushed out.

same as u dont need a icv or same reason people dont run a pvc.

as stated above, never ever had a coolant issue wether it be with coolant level or over heating or anything of that nature.

I would NEVER suggest doin the above if I thought anybody qould have even a small issue.

a few ive bought have came with out the tanks ive always just stuck one on. it runs fine with out but its a risk at the end of the day am not prepared to take with a good few thousand at risk if any thing happened.

hell you technically dont need that tank ontop of the brake cylinder you could just remove that with a small bit of pipe. it will run perfectly fine right up untill that one day it totaly fucks up and probaly kills you

just my though but if its a car you take pride in id either run or have a nice custom one made up.

Can the expansion tank not just be relocated out of sight? Or does it have to be close and roughly the same height as the fed from the radiator?
