mr_K
My forged 4efte engine is causing idle problems..Ill wait until engine is warm and ill take it out for a drive around my area and at traffic lights when i stop the engine will be idling at 1200rpm and slowly takes its time dropping back to 900rpm.Why does the idle take long for it to lower back to stable engine idle?Any suggestions??Thanks
adzy
I think most glanzas seem to do this to some extent from what I've heard. Also have heard that with a half rad they cool the engine more so when you stop at lights etc it will be in cold idle
5e colin
half rad makes no diff on idling there the eurly signs of the wax valve ( under tb ) and idler control valve on left of mani acting up 4efte are notorious for having these problems

mr_K
Will the icv affect engine performance atall if plug was disconnected? Its doing.my head in.. Idling at 1200 for too long.
Ryan5793
mine idles at 1200 no matter what i try, just got used to it now lol
patman
I would first do what I did mate get the engine up to temp Rev the engine from the throttle cable on inlet of course it will do it then take the icv plug out then Rev it again and see if it drops straight back let us all know what happens
