actuator over boosting

Im getting boost creed what actuator will be best to go down to 0.5? Thanks its a racetech hybrid with standed actuator atm

Boost to

0.4 1st gear

0.4 2nd gear

0.5 3rd gear

0.5 4th

But in 5th doing 60/70 and i go to accelerate it climbs to just under 1.0 i obviously dont want this as not forged ect how can i stop this

Do a search mate, loads of information available. Two choices port wastegate or external wastegate really

What sort of intake do you have shorter route's usually cause creep there are other ways as Ollie has said. Good ecu map is a safe option, what set up do you want to achieve at what power? You can run 1 bar on stock internals with supporting mods..

Good ecu map doesnt solve the issue it just masks it and makes it safe

might be worth getting an adjustable actuator - if you are using the stock actuator its more than likely knackered

Almost everything is standed in the engine only things changed are fmic.short rout airfilter. decat and the rest of the exhaust

I have all that and mine doesn't go over .6 bar, used to creep to about .7 when I still had the tmic

Im probably going to try a hks actuator. But in the mean time as long as i moniter it i wont let it go over

Plug n play ecu actuator to 1 bar upgrade manifold it will be a different car the hks actuators are a stiffer spring the boost will just come in stronger. You can't go wrong with a plug n play just do abit more research.
