RobSR Posted February 17, 2008 Author Posted February 17, 2008 FFS someone has said yellow, two people have said green, and you have said blue ;) Quote
Nanglebadger Posted February 17, 2008 Posted February 17, 2008 the ones i got from Idrees are green, Jay will confirm this.Idrees removed them from an S himself, so i would like to think these are S injectors.Phil. Quote
SiCaln Posted February 17, 2008 Posted February 17, 2008 Rick and i took em off a Glanza S yesterday and they were blue, we also snagged the JDM tubular/corolla mani too! Quote
Nanglebadger Posted February 18, 2008 Posted February 18, 2008 hmmmmmmmmmmmm, well as i said, Idrees took them from a Glanza S himself too and they are green.can we see a pic please Si to compare the shades incase wot i think is green u think is blue?Phil. Quote
SiCaln Posted February 18, 2008 Posted February 18, 2008 rick has em mate im sure he will get one up tho Quote
StarletRick Posted February 18, 2008 Posted February 18, 2008 ill get you some pics up mate. but they are a light shade of blue. i took them out myself, and it was definatly a S. i saw the car. and the engine had the 4 branch on it and also had the DIS ignition system, so it it was absolutely a glanza s. no question about it. Rich Posted February 18, 2008 Posted February 18, 2008 Would these help with improving power output maybe help tourque in anyway? Im sure the standard ones are more than adequet though. Quote
StarletRick Posted February 18, 2008 Posted February 18, 2008 i cant say from experience, ive never owned a 4efe... but from what ive read they do help out a bit. they would give a similar result to fitting a rrfpr. they would flow more fuel per cycle at the stock pressure, instead of forcing more fuel in via higher pressure like the rrfpr. Quote
Rich Posted February 18, 2008 Posted February 18, 2008 Well theres only one way to find out I guess... From the RR garph its seems like the torque drops off like a stone after it hits peak, maybe it isn't getting enough fuel through. Quote
SiCaln Posted February 18, 2008 Posted February 18, 2008 oh yea forgot that Phil, we even saw and touched (i licked) the coil packs on the JDM 4e-fe engine Quote
Nanglebadger Posted February 18, 2008 Posted February 18, 2008 lol snazzyness, i aint botherin with the S conversion anymore, no point really, plus it sounds like there would be some compatibility issues, like the coil pack and the ecu plugs.Phil. Quote
Idrees Posted February 18, 2008 Posted February 18, 2008 As Phil said, I removed these from a Glanza S myself. It was defintely a S, said on the doors etc and it had the 4 branch inlet too. It was an Auto though, maybe that makes a difference?? Quote
