jamesh
Just fited rear mk2 coilovers after following a post about them. The issue im having is they are to bouncy and i cant figure out how to change that. I have adjusted the springs and the bottom part but im still bouncing.
morgey
Probably because theyre not designed for a starlets suspension design. Im assuming you mean mk2 polo/golf?

5e colin
your pic for ref, Edited August 1, 2015 by 5e colin
jamesh
So shall i leave the springs and bottom set like that and just cut the bumpstop?
5e colin
if your happy with that ridehight then yes leave at that . just shop then stops down , driver side is the 1 to set first its the heavy side on the left side thread will be lower then on driver side if you get me you can also use the bottom screw on bits to set hight but you might end up softerr and harder Edited August 1, 2015 by 5e colin
jamesh
Ok will cut them now and test again. Not really mate ??
5e colin
im sorry i got my words mixed up there if the threads are not equal then softer and harder accurs using the bottom screw bits will have same strengt in coils
jimmymac101
I hate to be the one who says it but if you wanted coilovers why not buy starlet specific ones ? James
5e colin
^^^^ o jeeeez here we go again >>>>> because there is folk out there that cant afford pro coils
jimmymac101
And I fully understand that I have been there .... Still am there but save save save for pro coils or go springs until such time just my opinion though Fair play to anyone who try's things out the box but some things shouldn't be messed with lolJames
