Wouldn't even bother mate. I'm doing the same myself at this moment in time and just going without p/s.



Better feel on the road plus its a tiny car that weighs very little. P/s is only really needed for parking anyway so I wouldnt even go to the effort, plus electric p/s normally feels awful.

MR2's come with an electric power steer setup - you just need to make sure you run the controller too else it will be way to light and you wont get any feel. They draw quite a bit of current though so you may need to swap to a larger alternator.

I've fitted a saxo pump to mine and it's bang on added a wee switch aswell so I can turn it off should I want some more feel at higher speeds
