morgan Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 ok so I have seen a few threads on this but no one really saying what I need to know. My stock CT9 needs replacing, I was just going to replace with a reconditioned stock CT9 but also wanting to go with a TD04 in the future. So to save me spending money on a CT9 that will only be in there for 6 months or so could I put on a TD04 but keep the boost at stock pressures (0.6 bar I think?) So my question is can I run a TD04 on stock EVERYTHING so ecu, fuel pump, the lot as long as I'm not adding any more boost. I'm not on the hunt for power just yet, just a working carThanks for any input Quote

Ollieh17 Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 (edited) Ran 0.8 bar on a td04 on glanza, standard ecu etc same as you. Fuelled fine, i did have a wideband though Edited August 8, 2015 by Ollieh17 Quote
morgan Posted August 8, 2015 Author Posted August 8, 2015 Was thinking of getting a wide band to be on the safe side Quote
5T4R7ET N/A Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 Boost it 0.5 on a good actuator like a HKS.Mine fuelled fine at 0.5 Quote
morgan Posted August 8, 2015 Author Posted August 8, 2015 Going with an Tia 38mm external wastegate so if I put in the spring for 0.5 bar I will be fine until I get a new ECU, FPR and file pump ? In which case I can add a boost controller to set it to what I need Quote
maddox710 Posted August 9, 2015 Posted August 9, 2015 I ran mine @1bar 232bhp 233lb-ftHks pfcon+gcc ecu Quote
