starletgt-shady Posted August 16, 2015 Posted August 16, 2015 Anyone have info on these. I have a brand new set in a box never used. Were bought from dave years ago and I've never used them. Quote
RobSR Posted August 16, 2015 Posted August 16, 2015 What specs? Either way they were ivan tighe cams. Quote
Whitenoize Posted August 16, 2015 Posted August 16, 2015 I'm sure I seen a post somewhere saying he also got a load from speed vision ? Quote
RobSR Posted August 16, 2015 Posted August 16, 2015 They definitely weren't speedvision! Ah the 282's - legendary they were Quote
starletgt-shady Posted August 16, 2015 Author Posted August 16, 2015 Yeh defiantly weren't speed vision were bought before they started selling them. Probably about 7 years ago. 8 mm lift. Quote
starletgt-shady Posted August 17, 2015 Author Posted August 17, 2015 Probably I have no plans to use them. To be honest I forgot I had them. I'll dig them out and get some pics. Quote
Jamie_VF22 Posted August 17, 2015 Posted August 17, 2015 I've had 282 with 9mm lift when i built my GT they ar far to big and it is not a usable car and they rinse fuel Hence why i went smaller cams in the end Quote
Socks Posted August 17, 2015 Posted August 17, 2015 Cams need to be carefully spec'd with the rest of the spec... I was on stock cams. Stock cams are more then good enough tbh for big power! Unless your revving to 9000rpm, mahooosive garrett. I cant see hugely lary cams like that being needed! Quote
RobSR Posted August 17, 2015 Posted August 17, 2015 I think they were awesome, depends what your after. Drag use only really - they didnt come alive until 6k+ Quote
