Rim sizes for track and 1/4 mile

Hi All, hope you all have a great year , what rim sizes are best for track days / hill climbing and 1/4 mile on a Glanza that can also be used for normal roads?

Currently my V is with 17 inch wheels.

The PERFECT wheel size for a Glanza/GT is considered to be 15x6.5J ET37.

However, wider wheels or offset can be bigger these days with wider front wings. etc

Big fat tyres are better for the 1/4. I fitted low profiles and had hardly any traction at all.

If you want to do drag racing I would be getting the smallest wheel on I could like a 13 or 14 inch banded steely with the biggest slick I could fit width and profile.

True, for drag racing 13's and 14's are the best. for both track and drag racing (not events) 15's should be ok I believe. correct me if I'm wrong.

I think 15s are the best arounder, fit decent sized brakes and good on track

14-15 MAX on a track 14s would work better

For track/drag the best size would be 14" with a chunkyish tyre.

Looks wise 16s fill the arch perfectly.

Gordr doing his hill sprints ran 16's up front to 15's on the rear seen the same on tracks unsure of what tyre sizes. 15x7 30's is what's getting good times on the track in Troys ep82 in Japan but he was running 14's with good times on track to. I'd go 15's track 14's drag if I was you I ran 14's acceleration was great!
