Robbiemclough
I am wondering of any loom conversion posts about loom connectors as I want to put an ep82 jam ecu into my glanza, can't seem to find anything about exact pin for pin swap overs and no where to buy one as you probably know

Robbiemclough
Cheers for the point in the right direction lads! Is there an actual thread on doing it do ya know? Is it pin for pin and just put the two together for sensors and will have one blank due to manual transmission?
5e colin
you have to compare each pin on the ep82 and 91 ecy pin outs then match the wires from the ep82 plug to the acording pin on any of the 3 plugs on the glanza this is for the v ecu in the starbo just use different sex plugs and it will turn in 1 suited for you Edited January 9, 2016 by 5e colin

Stu
Handy diagram - Ive done that wire up a few times now. One setup for a Jam ecu I spliced in above the original plugs as the owner wanted to be able to swap between the ecus (for some reason)
5e colin
handy indeed stu free 300rpm increase for us gtt boys he probly wanted to mess with his setups till he found something that matches ecu readings well ?
gorganl2000
handy indeed stu free 300rpm increase for us gtt boys he probly wanted to mess with his setups till he found something that matches ecu readings well ? is there a different stock rev limit for the ep82 vs the ep91? i've heard people say 7600 for ep91 in the past....but i've never really checked...as the rev counter seem to indicate the ep91 limits at the same 7200 rpm based on the red markings Edited January 13, 2016 by gorganl2000
5e colin
i havent hit the limiter yet as tho with my gtt ecu i did and my needle is at the same spot so yes must be higher
