  1. Try and find out what seals though bud. If it's front/rear crank oil seal then that's probably about the right money. If it's something like distributor o ring or rocker cover gasket then he's charging a lot for a 10 minute job.
  2. I became a full member just the other day been a member on a few forums but this is definitely one of the better ones.
  3. No worries I'll get it sent out asap. You should have it Friday or Monday at the latest
  4. Thanks Sam. Hope it arrived safely (sorry about the huge box lol). If you don't already have the wiring loom for the bulbs then let me know and I'll send it on up to you I didn't think of it until last night.
  5. Carry some WD40 with you too and if it starts squeeling again try to spray some on the alternator pulley (not the belt) If it helps then more than likely its the pulley seizing.
  6. I bought a trd gearknob (screw on type) for my gt4 and that went on the glanza. I would think most Toyotas around the same age would all be the same fitment? Could be wrong though
  7. Just seen this sad times mate. The New n/a looks tidy though
  8. Mike_trx what a backdrop! Awesome pic
  9. Good write up. Been thinking about getting these for a while but it's good to have a guide so I don't mess things up
  10. Might sound stupid but how freely does the alternator pulley spin? If it's even slightly seized you will shred belts.
  11. Heat from the engine would affect intake temperatures. Behind the front grill makes more sense, keeping it in the cold air stream

  19. It's an easy job mate, I've done mine and my brother's. Just be careful with removing the gas! Obviously also don't forget you will need a different pas belt. I'm sure you knew that but thought I would mention it.
