Got any ideas why this happened? I thought internals were good for 250bhp
-
just been out and it goes into gear fine (engine off) but all engine oil has drained out so should say its the bottom end not even had the car a month
-
So think by engine has blown, made a horrible noise, cut out, huge cloud of black smoke behind, pulled over, engine bay is covered in oil and the rest of it was left in a trail on the floor, found a few pits of metal at the back of the engine resting in place which I believe is part of the block. Great day for me! Anyone got ideas what it could be? Rod out the side?

Saw earlier near the harvester going towards Hinckley was a few cars behind, anyone on here? -
Could it be worth checking the thermostat?
-
Do you mean miss-fire? Why would it be doing that?

Okay so when starting my car from cold after leaving it overnight, it idles quite high, (which I presume is the choke?) and when I start to drive as soon as any boost pressure issue the car goes really jumpy and almost splutters and 'pops' which I'm guessing is the car just over fueling as when it warms up its fine? I have a full straight through and a relocated air filter A one have any ideas?
-
No it dosent change apart from making a funny noise when I change I to inside the car and the hot cold flap dosent really close either I don't think

might save some people a lot of money!

So I'm going to flush my heater matrix tomorrow see if I can get my heaters a bit hotter! Just wanted to know when I remove the two pipes going into the bulkhead, do i put a hosepipe into the bulkhead side or the engine side? and do I remove both then put hosepipe in or do just one at a time? Cheers

Yeah mate 148bhp so he was pretty chuffed! -
In my ep91 I took the clocks out and changed themto LED but I wouldn't advise it as they keep blowing in a day and flickering and it's very annoying, also there very directional so you will have bright spots!

So quick update today, Went to the rolling road now I actually have a car worthy of putting on them! went to Midland VW in Cannock with some people from the ZSOC forum as my friend was taking his car too a meet there! wasn't too sure what to expect the car too make, but they were really good there, also put a wideband in the exhaust (blew it out on the last run!) for me to check he fueling! and he told me that it's safe what it's running at the moment but slightly lean near the more bottom end of the rev range but still safe apparently so will be needing FPR or Emanage soon!
